Hydrogen Might Self-Renew, Reservoir found in France

Several recent discoveries of naturally occurring hydrogen reservoirs underground (the so-called "white hydrogen") have prompted the whole world to start searching for more of the stuff. Even though this seems like a gamechanger for the hydrogen economy, I am still sceptical of its viability economically, energetically, and environmentally.

Water into Hydrogen - Making a Simple Hydrogen Generator from old battery - hho
In this video, I will show you how to use old batteries to decompose water into hydrogen and oxygen or generate HHO gas. In this video, I separate the water molecules, which are hydrogen and oxygen, by electrolyzing water, and use the produced gas.
Note that you can also use potassium hydroxide powder or drain cleaner or salt to conduct water. But if you use salt, the color of the water will turn green or brown due to the production of hydroxide ions. Also, the efficiency of the drain cleaner solution is higher.

France has unveiled a prototype cargo ship that produces no direct greenhouse gas emissions. The hydrogen-powered Energy Observer 2 was unveiled at the United Nations-backed One Ocean Summit in the French city of Brest on February 10, 2022. The ship is capable of carrying up to 240 freight containers. Its founder, innovator and explorer Victorien Erussard, says the project’s goal is to decarbonise one-third of the world’s existing fleet of greenhouse gas-emitting cargo ships.

We hear a lot about the development of electric cars, and rightly so. But there’s another alternative vehicle technology that’s less talked about. And it’s reliant on the most common chemical element in the universe. Hydrogen.
There are hydrogen cars on UK roads, and while you might be hard-pressed to spot one right now, manufacturers (Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai) have already produced hydrogen models.
How Hydrogen Car works with Fuel Cell:
The fuel cell is a device that takes chemical energy from hydrogen and turns it into electricity that can power an electric motor, just like a battery. First, hydrogen stored in a tank is mixed with air and pumped into the fuel cell.
Inside the cell, a chemical reaction extracts electrons from the hydrogen. The leftover hydrogen protons move across the cell and combine with oxygen from the air to produce water. Meanwhile, the electrons create electricity, which charges a small storage battery to power an electric drivetrain. The vehicles are called Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV).
How Hydrogen Car works with IC Engine:
A hydrogen internal combustion engine (HICEV) is a type of hydrogen vehicle using an internal combustion engine. Hydrogen internal combustion engine vehicles are different from hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Instead, the hydrogen internal combustion engine is a modified version of the traditional gasoline-powered internal combustion engine.
